Free TVET

Every core trade programme is structured in three phases of three months each — Basic, Advanced, and Internship/Employment — giving every trainee real workplace exposure before graduation.

Day and boarding

Courses are delivered through non-residential day sessions at our well-equipped campus in Ashaiman Municipal District, Greater Accra Region.

Regular Certificate pathway

- Applicants must be 18 years of age or above, in line with industry age requirements.
- Applicants must be able to read and write.
- Open to SHS and TVET graduates seeking trade skills, university graduates building practical competencies, and industry professionals upgrading skills.
- Solar Training applicants should already have foundational knowledge in Electricals.

NVTI Proficiency pathway

Informal trainees and individuals seeking job transition or practical certification are warmly welcomed. Walk in to purchase an admission form, or contact the Institute by phone or email.

Qualifications

Certification and progression

Trainees receive a DBTI Certificate of Completion upon successful completion of classroom instruction, practical assessments, and internship placement. All trainees also receive grounding in basic ICT and Soft Skills.

National TVET progression ladder

Basic Phase (3 Months) → Advanced Phase (3 Months) → Internship / Employment Placement (3 Months) → Industry Transition & Entrepreneurship
